Story
This block was extracted from Quarry 74 above Torano in October 2023. The quarryman who identified it — Paolo, third generation — called it 'a piece with its own light.' We didn't shape it so much as remove everything that wasn't already trying to emerge. The golden veining is calcite deposited by mineral-rich water 150 million years ago. We simply revealed its path.
